19 Century Meal - Courtesy Judi BuncherAllaire Village, Inc. will be holding the Annual Benefit Dinner at Our House Restaurant and Tavern in Farmingdale, NJ.  The dinner is open to all Members, Staff and Volunteers and their guests and advance reservations are required.  The price per ticket is $25 per person. and the proceeds go to help support the educational and historic preservation programs of Allaire Village, Inc.

Our House Restaurant and Tavern is located at 420 Adelphia Rd. in Farmingdale, NJ 07727.  Our House Restaurant offers guests a variety of seafood, steak, lamb, fowl and pasta dishes served in an exquisite 18th Century setting. Originally built in 1747 by George Marriner, a British ship designer, Our House was originally known as Marriner's Tavern. The spot rapidly became a favorite rendezvous for local farmers, politicians, travelers and even a band of outlaws known as the "Fagen Gang ." A member of that gang, Lewis Fenton, was even hanged on 23 September 1779 in front of the Tavern by members of Major Lee's Light Dragoons.
